Lossiemouth Marina Overview
Welcome to Lossiemouth Marina, superbly positioned on the south shore of the quiet
Moray Firth with direct access for yachts to the Northern Isles, land of the long summer
days and exhilarating sailing..
The Marina has 90 berths split into two basins, namely East and West. Toilet facilities, showers, and a
coin operated laundrette are available separately in both basins. Electricity and water are available for all
berths. Pre payment cards for electricity are available from the Steamboat Inn or the Marina Manager.
Hard standing is available for yachts in both basins where water and power points are also available for
yacht maintenance. Lossiemouth town, with its bars, restaurants and general facilities are almost beside
your pontoon.
The Marina probably provides the highest facilities/yacht ratio of any Marina in Scotland.
A four berth indoor maintenance and storage facility with adjacent workshop is accessed from the West
Basin. There is a 25 ton Sublift semi-submersible self-propelled boat lift.
Moray, with its clean, open beaches to the north and the Grampian Mountains to the south is bordered
east and west by the famous salmon rivers Spey and Findhorn. Moray farmers produce the quality
ingredients for over half the world’s malt whisky which is produced here. Championship golf courses are
within easy reach. In 2012, National Geographic voted the Moray coastline amongst the best IN THE
WORLD ! No wonder sailors enjoy their visits here!
